History of the Talisman:
Talismans originated from the word telesma, which is a Greek word. Telesma means initiation into a mystery; it can also mean a sacred object. It is essential for the talisman to be consecrated after production for it to be effective. The consecration usually takes place during special rituals; they are not charged with any spiritual power or gain any spiritual energy until the consecration has been done. After the consecration, they can be trusted to discharge spiritual power that will attract love, protection and good luck to the wearer. They can also be trusted to ward off evil.
Intention:
Prior to activating your Sacred Talisman, choose a specific intention you want your Sacred Talisman to represent.
How to Consecrate:
1. Find a space where you want to hang your Talisman.
2. Burn anything that is sacred to you. This can be a candle, sage, incense, or herbs.
3. Gently hold your Talisman in your hands with your eyes closed and get a sensory feel for the texture and body. You may feel a sense of calm combing the tassel with your fingertips.
4. With the Talisman in hand, eyes closed, speak allowed the intention.
5. Place the Talisman in a place where it can serve as a reminder of this calm feeling and intention.
